Howard spent most of his childlike years growing up in Guyana the only English speaking country in South America. Maturing in a sun kiss, colourful country with a diverse people, wetted his appetite for enhancing his knowledge of other countries and cultures.
In his late teens, Howard left for England to pursue studies putting aside his interests to map out a career in engineering navigating a path through the IT world. However, his interests rekindled having discovered “why plan for tomorrow when you can do it today”. So off he went to travel the world from the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Far East. While travelling it suddenly dawned upon Howard that he never took the time to travel within Guyana where a multitude of waterfalls are found especially Kaieteur falls featured in a BBC documentary Lost land of the Jaguar in 2008.
Therefore, with this new found energy while spending time in Guyana he travelled to the two most popular water falls, Kaieteur and Orindulk. With awe he marvelled at their natural beauty realising that here in Guyana there are unspoken wonders of the world not heard of or seen.
Thus, this encouraged Howard to show case some images of waterfalls in its natural state engraving credence to the origin of the word Guyana ……… land of many waters.
